PHP Conference 2018
I gave a lightning talk (LT) on the theme "Engineer Career Theory from a 20s Perspective."
Following last year's PHP Conference 2017, I was glad to present again in the LT session this year, but next year I aim to be selected for a 25-minute slot.
This marks my third time attending the PHP Conference, and each time I feel the warmth of the PHP community.
Since I hadn't presented since last year's PHP Conference, this conference has become a sort of year-end wrap-up or starting point for me.
With each participation, I sometimes feel my own growth. (Things I couldn't empathize with or understand before are starting to make sense...)
This year's theme was Growth, which seemed to reflect my past year.
Reflecting on last year, I focused on input this year, and it feels like it has become a year that connects to next year's theme, beyond.
Next year, while not to the extent of "presentation-driven development," I want to increase opportunities to present on technical themes, to externalize what I've been inputting, and to create output in a semi-forced manner.
From Growth to beyond, I aim to present in a 25-minute slot next year.
