I recently read "The Thinking Methods of World-Class Engineers" and took some notes.

Much of what is written in this book are things I've heard or learned elsewhere, so personally, there wasn't much new for me. However, there were two points I wanted to keep in mind.

One is the concept of being Belazy. It's the idea of maximizing value with less time.

This is a mindset that can be practiced individually, but I think it's more important for the surrounding environment to also be Belazy.

The other point is about taking time to understand. Even people who are considered very smart don't try to understand something in one go; they read the same text multiple times to grasp it. (There might be people who can understand instantly or quickly, though.)

When trying to understand something, it's common to avoid repetition due to time concerns, but I decided to consciously take time on parts I want to deepen my understanding of or find difficult to grasp.
