There are many sections that discuss case studies, some of which were quite intriguing.

- When formulating a strategy, "what not to do" is as important as "what to do"
- The causes of a bad strategy include flawed thinking and a lack of leadership
- Characteristics of a bad strategy:

- It does not address critical issues
- It confuses goals with strategy
- It sets incorrect strategic objectives
- Strategy is a hypothesis
- The essence of strategy is diagnosis, guiding policy, and action
Though it may sound cliché, strategy is not something that can be easily conceived. To differentiate from others, it is crucial to either possess or discover unique and outstanding information.
When thinking about strategy, if you feel like you've missed the mark despite thorough consideration, it might be because you lack or haven't discovered the information necessary for differentiation.
While this book focuses on business strategy, I believe the insights on strategy can be beneficial for thinking about strategy in general, whether it be organizational strategy or career strategy.
I often think about my career, and I want to use the insights gained from this book to make my strategies more concrete.
