Overview

A list of commands to remember on the journey to becoming a Vimmer.

Motivation

Although I am accustomed to GUI editor shortcuts, I feel my text editing speed has plateaued.
Moving away from GUI editor dependency (considering whether learning shortcut keys for GUI editors or the well-established VIM is more cost-effective. vi is included as the standard editor on all OS).
Using shortcuts and arrow keys causes hands to leave the home position, which decreases typing speed.
A growing desire to complete text editing quickly on the terminal.

Editing
